Soft equipment – We are the ONLY baby and toddler gym class in the UK that uses only soft equipment with soft floor matting. This makes our playgym floor the perfect space for your little ones to practice tummy time, rolling, crawling, pulling up, cruising, walking, climbing, balancing and jumping! Parents can be safe in the knowledge that if their baby/toddler slips or stumbles they will be falling on a soft surface and not a hard wooden one! Age specific developmental classes – each stage focuses on different skills and activities to progress and support your little one’s development. Children get to attend a class with same age peers to learn from and who are at the same physical stage of development.  For this reason, older or younger siblings may not accompany members unless attending a Family Monkey class together, with the exception of babies under 6 months, who must be in a baby sling/ car seat/pram for the duration of the class. This is so adults have their hands free to help their child safely on the equipment and with the age appropriate activities.  We have regular and seasonal Family classes for all ages that are the perfect class for mixed ages to enjoy together.

Cleaning – We like to keep our playgym and props super clean for you and your little ones, so we wipe down all main surfaces each morning and props get cleaned each session. We also do regular deep cleans too! Knowing that little ones explore everything with their mouths we feel its super important to offer a clean and safe environment with peace of mind for parents.

Parent Participation – Our classes are very much about parents/carers getting involved and joining in with their little ones. Of course, our little ones learn from us so be prepared to take the lead, be silly and have fun! Remember keep with your child and keep them safe on the playgym floor, children need to be supervised by their adult at all times.

Socks – We ask mobile children to be bare foot on the equipment to ensure safer climbing and moving around the room. For hygiene purposes we ask that adults wear socks during the class.

You sign up and enrol into 1 core class and attend that same class every week for as long as it suits your schedule. You can move classes easily, when your child is ready to move up to the next age/ability class or when your schedule changes. You are also able to make up missed sessions when you are unable to attend – see full subscription terms and conditions.

Classes are one-on-one, so one adult to each child required, except for twins or within a Family Class where mixed ages can attend. Extra classes at no extra charge available to members only, see below.

Yes! In addition to your weekly class, you can enjoy the following, ALL INCLUDED in your monthly membership…….

Extra classes available to book on our MMG App! There is a minimum of 2 extra spaces always available in each class, sometimes more. Members can also ‘gift’ their space if they know they will not be able to attend a class and we will add it to the app. Extra class are easily bookable yourself by using our App.

Open Gym sessions. As a MMG member you can also prebook a space in our Open Gym sessions on selected Saturdays, dates will be posted in the MMG Norwich Members Community private FB group and can be reserved through the Spaces by Wix App, which as a MMG member you will receive an invite to. Open Gym sessions are ‘free play’ sessions for children to practice their skills and enjoy the playgym. A MMG class leader will be on hand to supervise the session. Currently Open Gym sessions run every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

Special Themed Sessions. Throughout the year we run special fun themed sessions with craft activities, such as: Valentines, Teddy Bears Picnic, Roar Dinosaurs, Under the Sea, Superheroes, Spooktacular Halloween and Christmas Sparkles. These are included in your monthly membership.

As valued MMG members, we aim to make your membership at Mini Monkey Gym Norwich as beneficial to you and your family all year long!

Monthly membership includes at least one weekly class and unlimited access to Saturday Open Gym sessions, extra weekly classes and our special themed sessions.. All classes must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.

We offer a cancellation and make-up service, so you can cancel any class you are unable to attend for any reason and book an alternative class on the MMG App to make the most of your membership.

Members can book a MMG birthday parties at a discounted rate, highly recommended as we are the under 5’s party specialist! We have party slots bookable on Saturdays, which include exclusive use of the whole MMG centre. If your little one has a birthday coming up reserve your party slot ahead of time as weekend slots fill up quickly! 

Private hire slots for groups and organisations: Booking a private slot can be a relaxed way to enjoy all the fun of MMG for your group or organisation or with family and friends.

Invitation to member only events and social get togethers: A great chance to get to know even more MMG members in an informal way whilst you enjoy time with your little one.

Children just love to wear their monkey t-shirt to class – just as much as parents love to see their little ones in them – too cute!

When you become a MMG Norwich member remember to add a MMG T-shirt to your basket so they have one ready for their first class! If you forgot don’t worry you can pick one up in class!

Once you are enrolled with us, we consider you part of our Mini Monkey family until you tell us you would like to leave. We are proud that over 85% of our members remain part of our family year after year, moving up the different stages of classes and progressing in our developmental programme, before their children leave to go to school.

Of course, if you need to leave us, or pause your subscription, all we require is a months’ notice, in writing, by email. You can pause for up to a month once a year due to a holiday or planned illness.

Yes! If you need a party idea for your little ones 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th birthday then look no further! We offer the most perfect place to host your little one’s special celebration – our completely SOFT playgym is perfect for babies and toddlers to explore! Exclusive access to our whole venue for your party, with a party host that will make sure everything runs smoothly – all you need to do is bring the cake/food! With no clean up for you our parties take the hassle out of celebrating!  We also offer party themes of Dinosaurs, Under the Sea, Superheroes and Teddy Bears Picnic and can include your little ones favourite songs and rhymes during parachute time too.
