Children are engaged in discovering more about how the brain works, how it contributes to their happiness and how they can best look after it. Focusing on happy hormones, brain health, the stretch zone and how learning that the brain is malleable like plasticine is important for a growth mindset. This workshop helps to develop children’s emotional intelligence, allowing them to better understand themselves and the people around them. It also gives a practical approach to mindfulness and encourages the children to use mindfulness techniques to calm, refocus and enhance their concentration, memory and learning and to lower anxiety and stress.
